Congratulations to all students who have achieved in this year’s Religious Literacy examinations and we hope to achieve similar results next year.

Year 8 staff for 2025 have just completed training for the introduction of the Pedagogy of Encounter course for all Year 8 students. This will see all students now in Years 7-10 Religious Studies, and Years 11-12 Studies in Catholic Thought courses learn through this style of teaching. The course will allow students to explore their own thoughts and views on selected topics and will continue on from the modules students have been studying in Year 7 this year.

I would like to take this opportunity thank all staff and students for their engagement in Religious Education throughout 2024 and wish all families a happy, safe and holy Christmas. May all celebrate the true meaning of Christmas – the joy of family and love. Merry Christmas.
