Middle School Awards and Community Engagement: A Celebration of Excellence
The middle school years are a time of growth, discovery, and hard work, and this year’s Middle School Awards Ceremony was a true testament to the dedication and talent of our students. With a strong sense of community, we came together to celebrate our middle schoolers’ achievements, as well as their commitment to making a positive impact both in and out of the classroom.
Honoring Student Excellence
The Awards Ceremony was filled with moments of pride as we recognised the accomplishments of students who have gone above and beyond. These awards were not just for academic excellence, but also for outstanding character, leadership, and determination. Among the many deserving students, a few stood out for their exceptional contributions to our school community. I would like to congratulate all subject award winners!
The REACH Award Winners
Each year, the REACH Award is presented to students who demonstrate the values of Respect, Empowerment, Aspiration, Courage, and Honesty—qualities that make them leaders and role models in our school. This year, we are incredibly proud to recognize four extraordinary students who embody these values:
- Emmersyn Reponen (Murdoch Program): Emmerson’s kindness and determination have made a lasting impact on both classmates and teachers alike. Always ready to help others, Emmerson consistently shows leadership and perseverance in all areas of life.
- Alex Healy (LIS Program): Alex has gone above and beyond in academic pursuits and school activities. Whether leading a group project or offering support to peers, Alex’s commitment to excellence and community service shines brightly.
- Asha Morrow (PAC Program): Asha’s dedication to learning and personal growth is unmatched. Through hard work and a positive attitude, Asha inspires others to strive for their best while maintaining strong relationships with those around them.
- Jordyn Smith (TAL Program): Jordyn has shown remarkable growth both academically and personally. Her contributions to school events, as well as her kindness and compassion towards others, have made her a shining example of what it means to be a true leader.
Community Engagement: Building a Stronger School Together
Our school community has always been a cornerstone of our success, and the strong bonds between students, families, and staff have never been more evident than at this year’s ceremony.
Our school’s commitment to fostering community engagement is reflected not only in the classroom but also in how students collaborate on projects, support each other’s growth, and contribute to the overall well-being of the school environment.
As we look to the future, we are excited to see what the next year holds for our middle school students. With such talented and dedicated students, the possibilities are endless. The awards ceremony was a reminder of the incredible potential within each of our students, and we are eager to continue celebrating their achievements both academically and personally.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the families, teachers, and staff who support these students every day. Together, we continue to create a nurturing environment that allows every student to thrive.
Congratulations to all the award winners and I wish you and your family, a wonderful Christmas and New Year break.
