CAMP!

The 3/4 Cohort have just returned from our trip to Mill Valley Ranch! Read below to see what some of the students enjoyed down at Mill Valley Ranch!

Edward Cho

Camp was the best three days EVER!!!! I really enjoyed everything, but my favourites were raft building and crate climbing. In raft building I really enjoyed being part of a team, and our raft floated. We won the raft building competition. I had a really great cabin and I got to hang out and get along with people I didn’t know.

Ava Norton

This was the best camp I've been to! My favourite activities were horse riding, crate climbing and the low ropes course. I enjoyed my cabin and hanging out with the people in my cabin group. The food was AMAZING! The best thing I ate was an indian meal with chicken, rice and naan bread.

Harvey Webb

This camp was one of my favourite camps I’ve been on and the first one I've gone to! My favourite activities were archery and horse riding. I got to ride Roxy, and we did an obstacle course around the barn. I also really enjoyed my cabin and the talent show. I am really looking forward to camp next year! Go Drapery Cabin!!!

Audrey Tzerefos

On October the 30th - 1st of November was camp, at Mill Valley Ranch. I went there with everyone in the 3/4 cohort. We were there to have fun and adventure and to meet people we don’t really know. On the first night after we had dinner we went on a hike to see wildlife. I loved it, I did walk with Mila and Olivia D. At the top of the hill we saw the cutest wild thing ever, a kangaroo! We saw other animals and a wombat hole!

Camp was so fun and was a great opportunity to do stuff you don’t usually do every day like ride a horse or build a raft. My favourite thing about camp was crate climbing and the reason why was because at first I was so scared. My goal was 5 crates and it turns out I reached 14 boxes. I fell down but l still wanted to make it to a higher point. Camp was so fun especially because we learnt new games like the pool table, and we got ready quickly so when we are allowed to go outside we rush to play the games and play with new people.

Anthony Romana

On camp (30th of October - 1st of November) we went to Mill Valley Ranch. All of the 3/4s and 6 teachers went (Miss Boyhan, Miss Tallarico, Mrs Kerr ,Miss Sonia, Mr Montalto and Mr A.M) The most notable activities in camp this year for me were Archery, Raft Building, Crate Climbing and Horse Riding. On Thursday, the 31st of October in the morning my group, Roughriders went to Archery. Archery is shooting a target with a bow and arrow.. Archery for me was probably the funnest activity in camp I had.

Poppy McMahon

In Cowboy Chapel we got to sing songs about God. The coolest thing was instead of using the word ‘it’ we sang ‘ye’. My favourite song was either ‘Like a River’ or 'I Just Want to be a Sheep’. Everyone was loud and everyone knew the words. For 'Like a River' there were actions but the words kept getting faster so you had to do the actions more quickly. From my perspective Cowboy hapel was so much fun!
