Deputy Principal

Mr Cameron Drew - Deputy Principal Year 8

As we approach the final weeks of Term 4, there’s a lot to celebrate and look forward to. Let’s take a moment to reflect on recent highlights and get ready for the exciting events ahead!

Celebrating Our Year 12s

Over the past month, our Year 12 students have shown great determination and resilience as they completed their external exams. It’s been a significant milestone, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and commitment throughout this challenging time.

Last week, we celebrated the end of their high school journey in style at the Year 12 Formal. It was a spectacular evening filled with joy, elegance, and camaraderie. Following this, we held the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony, where we acknowledged their achievements and wished them the very best as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023 – all the best in your next adventures! Stay in touch!

Upcoming Events

  • Year 11 Social Event: This week, our Year 11 students will enjoy their end-of-year social event. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity to relax and celebrate the end of the academic year.
  • Year 9 Boat Cruise: The much-anticipated boat cruise for Year 9 is just around the corner! Get ready for an unforgettable evening of fun on the water.
  • Year 7 & 8 Wet n Wild Trip: Our younger students are counting down the days until their adventure to Wet n Wild. It’s going to be a day filled with laughter, thrills, and memories to cherish.

Preparing for Exams and Assessments

As we wrap up Term 4, it’s essential for students to stay focused on their remaining assessments and exams. For students, this is a great time to revise key concepts, seek feedback from teachers, and organise study schedules. Remember, consistent effort and a balanced approach to study will set you up for success. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support if you need help preparing!

Week 11 Survey Reminder

A reminder to all families to complete the Week 11 Survey, which helps us plan for the final week of term. This was emailed out and we ask that you please submit your responses as soon as possible. Week 11 will focus on non-curriculum-based activities, giving students a chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved fun before the holidays.

As we near the end of the year, we want to express our gratitude to our students, staff, and families for their continued support. Let’s make these last few weeks memorable!
