Sport: Merlin Tzaros wins national triathlon race 

Congratulations to Year 10 Merlin Tzaros who has won the Super Sprint Junior Pro Triathlon, part of the Challenge Canberra national event in the A.C.T.

The race consisted of a 750m swim in Lake Burley Griffin, a 20km bike leg, and a 5km run around Commonwealth Park.

The Team Victoria State Team member in both Triathlon and Cross Country, had the fastest run leg in the race, and despite being bottom age as a 15-year old in the 16-19 age group, won in a field of 22 competitors from all around Australia.
