Places 9th at National Interschool Championships in Tamworth
Congratulations to Year 8 Lacy Solimo who scored a Top 10 place at the Australian Interschool Championship at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre in Tamworth, NSW.
Competing for Team Victoria in the Intermediate (Years 7-9) age group of the "Working Hunter" category on her horse Park Avenue William, the 14-year old finished 9th in the "ridden/jumping" phase.
This followed a 4th place in the Victorian Interschool State Championships at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre earlier in the year.
A wonderful experience for Lacy. There were 420 horse riders and 490 horses competing at the premier equestrian venue in Australia. The photos and online media show the scope of the massive event.
Lacy has also been winning various local events and has qualified for the 2025 Pony Club Victorian Championships for dressage and show jumping, and is also currently 2nd in Victoria on the Equestrian Australia eventing leader board putting her in a good position for the 2025 Australian Championships.
Well done Lacy and good luck in your upcoming events.
