Congratulations Hayley and Brodie

Last Thursday, 10th August, Hayley T (Year 8) took part in the North Eastern Zone Clay Target Shooting Championships in Echuca. 

There were 69 shooters from all over the north eastern zone competing on the day and a variety of senior and junior competitors. 

Hayley came second in the junior girls under 15s section - a fantastic effort! She now moves on to the Zone finals on 4th September. 

Brodie H (Year 8) has also advanced to the next stage of competition after taking out sub-class juniors at last weekend's clay shooting competition.

We wish Hayley and Brodie well in their next round of competition.

Years 3 - 6 Waranga Athletics Carnival

The sun managed to defeat the frost, for the Years 3-6 Waranga Athletics Carnival on Thursday 10th August! Around 200 of our students arrived at Ky P-12 by 9.10am for the jam packed day, full of running, jumping and throwing. After a short briefing, students were split into their age groups with the other attending schools and battled it out for the title. Ribbons galore were handed out to the successful competitors at each event, resulting in an extremely successful day for our St. Augustine athletes. All reports say that an awesome day was had by all, we even think we have some future olympians on our hands! 

A special thank you to all of the Years 3 - 6 staff who were legendary and helped out on the day. These days don’t run without them! Congratulations to all of the students who participated so well on the day, giving their best.
