Galilee Soccer Day
With the Matilda’s having such great momentum and having so much World Cup fever, Galilee needed Soccer Day.
Students came in their local teams, EPL teams or their own countries team. The effort they went to was terrific
Skills, drills and mini games were run by the Port Melbourne Sharks Head Coach Adam Piddick where the students got to learn and showcase their skills to him and their teachers. Having a short and sharp half an hour session with Adam, the students gained valuable knowledge.
We also had great support from Soccer Australia who donated posters, booklets and wristbands which was amazing to help decorate the school and some handouts.
Thank you to all those who donated on the day too. Raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital was another great success for the day.
If you’re interested in getting into Soccer or want to further yourself, see below at the flyer for a Port Melbourne Holiday Program on the Community Page.
Thanks to Adam and Port Melbourne for the day and lets go the Matilda’s!
Book Week

Students attending Dendy Athletics can come to school dressed as their favorite book character on Thursday next week, however we will not be able to hold a parade on Thursday as we have a number of activities and events planned throughout the day.
