SWPBS

Whole School Challeng

SWPBS (School Wide Positive Behaviour Support) is all about acknowledging the behaviours that we want to see in our community. At Great Ryrie, our values card system does just this as students who demonstrate our school values by showing Respect, Responsibility and being great Learners receive positive feedback. You can support this at home by simply asking your children if they have received a values card and what was it given for.

At assemblies this term I have had the pleasure of announcing the class recipients for medals that have been earned towards our whole school acknowledgement reward.

Nearly every class has achieved their GOLD medal which means that, as a team, each class has received 1000 values cards as acknowledgement of excellent behaviours by being Respectful and Responsible and great Learners. It won’t be long before the remaining classes reach the 1000 mark and when they do, we will organize a whole school reward.

I know that many classes have celebrated their successes along the way when they have achieved the Bronze, Silver and Gold medals and I look forward to announcing our whole school achievement very soon.

Here's a few photos of 3B celebrating reaching their 1000 values card goal with a fish 'n chips lunch ...
