Unity in Diversity Festival - 22nd October 10am-3pm

As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, the SMRC is re-igniting its popular Unity in Diversity Festival.

The festival is a free, family-friendly event designed to showcase and celebrate our vibrant multicultural community here in Melbourne’s southeast.

Youth Arts and Literature Competition

Entries are now open for the 2023 Youth Arts and Literature Prize held during Term 3 school holidays. The exciting Youth Arts and Literature Prize looks to uncover and recognize talented young artists and writers in our region. The SMRC Youth Arts and Literature Prize is open to anyone aged between 12 and 25 years of age living within City of Dandenong, City of Casey or the Shire of Cardinia.

There are two age groups, 12-17 and 18-25 with prizes for each.

Entry is free with great prizes to be won!

Entries close 14 September 2023, 5pm.

Entries in the competition will be shown at the upcoming exhibition during term 3 school holiday. Winners will be announced at the Visual Arts & Literacy Exhibition opening on Thursday 21 September 2023.
