Penrith Netball Trip

St Edward's were lucky enough to take 6 teams to Penrith to play in the CSNSW Netball carnival. It was very clear from the get go that the students were extremely excited!!! From the talking and anticipation on the bus to the chatting in the bunks before lights out (and after) and the early morning wake up time without alarms. All six teams had a great day with a lot of students playing in teams they had never played in before. A massive congratulations to the 12/13 year mixed side and to the 10 year old girls (pool A) side who took out their divisions undefeated.

An added excitement was a very special visit from Tilly McDonell and Matisse Letherbarrow from the Giants. I’m not sure who was more excited Mrs D or the kids. Thank you again Mrs Michell for organising this for the players at St Edward’s.

Saturday Netball

This Saturday is the  annual Dotty day to raise funds for the Leukaemia foundation. You child is encourage to wear something "Dotty" and to bring a gold coin donation. Dotty ribbons, dotty socks, what ever you can find. Please still wear your full netball uniform.

Basketball 2023 Summer Comp (2nd Comp)

Just a few things to keep in mind from Tamworth Basketball:

  1. No Zone Defence is to be played in the Primary Competition.
  2. Teams who attain a 30-point lead during a game must retire to halfway after scoring further goals. Teams who attain a 50-point lead during a game must retire to their 3-point line in their half after scoring further goals. (All Game Rules can be found on each score bench for further details).
  3. If a player is missing from the team list on the tablet, please don’t add them. Please let the Court Supervisors know so that the issue can be resolved.
  4. Each team is to provide one person for scoring. This is an easy job and Court Supervisors and Referees are more than happy to help with learning the ropes. We have also provided information sheets on all benches to help with the operating of the clocks and tablets.
