Drop Everything and Read
Our Junior School students buddied up with students from the Senior School on Wednesday 23 August to participate in a 'Drop Everything and Read' (DEAR) session. The goal of the program is to prompt children to make reading a regular part of their daily routines.
All shades of blue for Manresa Week
It's Manresa Week at the College this week and our blue-hued celebrations are in full swing. In the spirit of the week, students from Kinder to Year 12 were invited to dress as a blue character yesterday in exchange for a gold coin donation. Celebrations continue this week with fruit jelly cups being sold on the College Green tomorrow (Thursday 31 August) and a Father's Day raffle.
Puppy love
Our Kinder, Prep and Year 4 students had a very paw-some surprise waiting for them on Friday 25 August, with four golden retriever puppies paying a visit to their classrooms. It was lovely to see students asking inquisitive questions, sharing the puppy love around and being gentle with their new furry friends.
