Term 4 sport registrations are now open!

With only one term left, why not end 2023 on a high, playing a sport with your friends?

 

There are number of options for both Junior and Senior students to choose from and best of all, no prior experience is necessary! The rosters are short, sharp and super fun so why not grab a couple of friends and sign up? 

 

Just a friendly reminder to parents and carers: 

Each sports team requires parent or carer help in order to take part in the competition or roster. We thank all volunteers for their support. 

Volunteers are required to hold a current WWVP card and complete an online Catholic Education Child Safety Briefing. The briefing will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

 

All the information regarding dates, times and what’s on offer can be found in the tables below.

Junior Athletics Carnival

A reminder that we have our Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival on Friday 8 September. This is a day of great excitement, friendship and colour as students participate and earn points for the House shield while having lots of fun in the process.

Regional Basketball Tournament

Junior School information 

Just a reminder that registrations for the 2023 Regional Primary School Basketball Championships close strictly on Sunday 3 September

 

The tournament will take place over two weekends: Years 5/6, 28/29 October and Years 3/4, 11/12 November 2023. Games will be played at venues in southern Tasmania (TBC).

Registration numbers will influence our decision to hold trials for division 1 teams and will be held during school hours if required. Teams are entered based on the number of student registrations and parent help so please ensure you sign up before the closing date to avoid missing out. Please note that there will be a cost to families (registration, umpire and uniform hire costs).

Senior School information

The2023 Southern Regional High School Championships will take place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November. 

 

Any Year 7-10 student keen to try out for the Division 1 team or just form a social team with friends and play in Division 2, will need to complete the registration form here

 

The State Final will be in Launceston on 9 and 10 December. Entries will close on Sunday 17 September, so make sure you sign up before then! If necessary, there will be trials for Division 1 Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 teams based on the number of entries. They will be held in Week 10 of Term 3. If you have any questions regarding Term 4 sport, the basketball tournament, or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact or pop up and see us.
