Celebrating Connection: Reunion weekend highlights
It was a truly special evening as Girton welcomed back two alumni cohorts, each celebrating significant milestones and the enduring strength of their connections to the School and one another.
Girton Grammar Class of 2021
The Class of 2021 gathered to mark their 5-Year Reunion, coming together on Saturday 21 March. The evening was filled with warmth and energy as friendships picked up effortlessly, just as they had been left. There was no shortage of laughter, shared memories, and new stories created— a wonderful reminder that the bonds formed during school years continue to flourish well beyond graduation.
Girton Grammar Class of 2006
Also returning for the weekend were the Class of 2006, celebrating their 20-Year Reunion. After enjoying a tour of the School and revisiting familiar spaces, the group came together at the Rifle Brigade Hotel to reconnect and reminisce. With Old Girtonians travelling from across New South Wales, Queensland, and even Europe, the gathering was a testament to the lasting impact of their time at Girton and the strong sense of community that continues to unite them.
It was a joy to see both year levels celebrating side by side, proof that no matter the years between reunions, the Girton connection remains as strong as ever.
