Grade 3 Report

This week in Grade 3 we’ve been exploring fractions and discovering how they connect to division when solving worded problems about fractions of a collection. 

Students have enjoyed using mini whiteboards to experiment with different strategies, discuss their thinking, and collaborate with their peers. A highlight has been watching students confidently share their unique problem-solving strategies with the class, helping one another deepen their understanding of how fractions work in real-life situations. 

It’s been wonderful to see such enthusiasm, teamwork and mathematical thinking in action!
