A message from Early Stage 1
Welcome back to Term 4! We have a busy term ahead with the K-2 athletics carnival, our Thalgarrah excursion, a safety incursion and our Celebration of Learning.
October
Wednesday 22nd - K-2 Athletics Carnival
November
Monday 10th - KF Thalgarrah
Tuesday 11th - KG and KE Thalgarrah
Wednesday 12th - Responsible Pet Ownership Visit
December
Wednesday 10th - Celebration of Learning
Friday 19th - Last day of school
Your child will be visiting Thalgarrah in Week 5 to take part in the Teddy Bear's Picnic program. A permission note will be sent out soon. On the day, students will be learning about the secret of P.A.W.S. Through this, they will come to understand the needs of living things.
To support student participation, we need 2 parents per class to help on the day as students complete most activities in small groups and need close supervision. Unfortunately, younger siblings will not be able to attend the excursion.
Please email your child’s class teacher by COB Monday 27 October if you are available to help at the Thalgarrah excursion. Your child’s class teacher will confirm your participation by reply email.
Parents who travel to accompany us to Thalgarrah will need to provide photo identification to the school prior to the event and complete a volunteer declaration form which will be provided by the school.
Please see the relevant dates for each class below:
KF – Monday 10 November, 9am-3pm
KE and KG – Tuesday 11 November, 9am-3pm
We are excited to welcome our transition groups who are participating in transition activities over Term 4.
Occasionally, our current Kindergarten students will engage in their regular lessons in the library, allowing the 2026 Kindergarten students to begin their transition in the Kindergarten classrooms. We are eager to support all our students as they engage in these important learning opportunities.
