Year 9 Connect

Over the past two weeks, as part of their Connect curriculum, Year 9 students have been engaging in community-focused projects. As part of their study of community and social responsibility this semester, students participated in a diverse range of activities, including sewing wildlife pouches, preparing Share the Dignity bags for women in need, making cards for elderly community members, constructing bird boxes, assisting at early childhood and primary schools, visiting aged care facilities and supporting school maintenance and canteen operations. These experiences allowed students to actively contribute to their local community while developing a deeper understanding of social responsibility and community engagement.
