Year 10 Students Explore Future Pathways at Federation University Gippsland

Our Year 10 students recently enjoyed an inspiring day at Federation University Gippsland, where they experienced firsthand what university life is all about. The Federation University Experience Day gave students the opportunity to explore a variety of study areas, connect with academics, and discover potential career paths for the future.

The program was designed to help students uncover their interests and strengths through interactive, hands-on learning. Students had the opportunity to explore courses focused on Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Sports Science, Social Work, Community Services, Business and Accounting/Finance, and Nursing.

Students had hands on experiences Nursing clinical care and Sports Science and were able to experience the tools and technologies used in real world settings.

Beyond the sessions, students enjoyed the chance to explore the Gippsland campus, meet university lecturers and current students, and ask questions about pathways, courses, and campus life. Many came away feeling motivated and excited about their future studies with several discovering new areas of interest they hadn’t previously considered.

We are incredibly proud of how our Year 10 students represented our school. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and respectful engagement made the day a great success and a memorable step in their journey toward senior school and beyond.
