Overdue books  

The end of the year will be on us in no time. Do you have any overdue library books that need to come back to the library? Throughout the year we have tried hard to communicate with families and students about books that are very overdue. We would really appreciate it if any overdue books could be dealt with before we start our stock take. Often students know where they are, they just need a little help remembering to put them in their bags! Please have a conversation with your child(ren) and ask if they have any overdue books. We would love everyone to be borrowing some of the great new titles just in and sharing around the resources that we have.  

Scholastic BookClub: Great Christmas gift ideas 

The second last Scholastic Book Club is out and it'spacked with great value books. Traditionally Issue 7 is the best for Christmas gift ideas, and this year’s doesn’t disappoint, with the added bonus of up to three free books. Books make a great present and buying from Book Club is easy. Books can be delivered to school for you to collect if you would like to keep them as a surprise for your students.

Library lessons  

We have started Term 4 off looking at persuasion and Dogs V’s Cats with our junior students. Everyone certainly has some strong opinions on their pet of choice and there have been some great discussions with our stories.
