New Staff

Please help us welcome the following new staff to our community.

Bailey Aslander

Bailey is excited to join Endeavour College as our new Workshop Technician. 

Bailey is a qualified industrial designer with experience in this industry; however, his real passion is teaching and he is currently in his third year of Secondary Education at university. 

In his spare time, Bailey loves to play sport, especially Basketball, and keep active. 

If he's not on the court or in the gym, you’ll find him helping on the family farm.

Deborah Frahn

Deborah has been in the Careers Education space in some capacity for nearly ten years. 

She is a passionate Career’s Counsellor who is keen to assist students in finding their career pathway through higher education, VET and in Apprenticeships or Traineeships.

Deborah is very excited about her role as Career/Pathways Coordinator at Endeavour College. She is keen to support students in developing their God given talents and providing helpful knowledge in all aspects of career’s education to students and their families.

Elyssa Granozio

Elyssa is excited to join Endeavour College as a Learning Support Assistant. Elyssa is currently in her final year of her teaching degree and is looking forward to utilising the skills she has gained so far. Elyssa is passionate about education and is very enthusiastic about helping students in their learning journey.

Hayley Gronow

We are excited to welcome Hayley to Endeavour College as our new Teacher Librarian. Hayley joins us with extensive experience in Christian Education, where she worked primarily with Middle School students. Specialising in English and History, she has also taught junior Science and has a strong background in Inclusive Education. 

Hayley is passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments for all students and is looking forward to creating engaging Library spaces in the Discovery Centre for the Endeavour community. 

Outside of school, Hayley is a busy mum to four energetic boys – Charlie, Henry, Ted, and Jake – and loves making the most of family life. 

She also has interests in gardening, getting lost in a good book, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. 

Andrew McNicol

Driven by core values of integrity, honesty and respect, Andrew's objective in life is to achieve consistent growth, balance and purpose. His career experience to date encompasses a number of fields including education, executive search, sales and marketing, business development and professional sport. A forty plus year association with Japan from both an educational and occupational perspective has resulted in near native language fluency and is Andrew's major passion and skill set. Andrew fully embraces the culture of Japan, including its teaching. 

Away from the classroom, Andrew is a devoted husband and father. He loves nature, the ocean, reading, travel and sport, and is always seeking personal and professional development.

Fun fact: Andrew was a match day masseuse/physio for an NRL team for five years.

Eric Padman

Eric has joined Endeavour College to teach Science after an 18-year career teaching Mathematics and Science at a number of different government and independent colleges in both metropolitan and country regions of Victoria and South Australia. 

Eric’s early career was largely spent teaching senior Physics and Mathematics. He has developed a passion in his later career for teaching Science in various Christian and other religious settings. 

Eric welcomed his first daughter Faith in mid-2023 and nowadays she is frequently pictured in her favourite place, on top of dad’s shoulders. For the past few years Eric has been studying a Master of Data Science which he is due to complete this year. Eric can also be found running audio-visual equipment for his local church.

Sheree Schmaal

Sheree joins Endeavour College as a German, English and Christian Living teacher for 2025, while Lisa Hunter takes family leave. After living and working in Germany from 2016-17, she completed her Masters of Teaching and taught at a German bilingual primary school in Melbourne. Since moving back to South Australia in 2023, Sheree has enjoyed driving tractors on her family's farm and aunty time. She also loves hiking, reading, sewing and tennis. Before teaching, Sheree studied in Japan, worked at the Immigration Department and Parliament House in Canberra, and was also an ABC radio journalist. 

She is looking forward to contributing to Endeavour's Languages and Culture Club.

Siobhan Schoeman

Siobhan joins the Endeavour College community as Head of English. Siobhan was born and raised in South Africa and has lived and taught in Australia for the past ten years. Siobhan states her love for teaching and the English language was imprinted in her DNA from an early age when her parents read Macbeth, The Witches to her. Siobhan is excited to be here at Endeavour and will aim to ensure students leave their English lessons with a great passion for life and a sense of wonder. 

Siobhan has a supportive husband, two wonderful children who constantly surprise her and make her laugh and a cat that has a general disdain for existence.

Samuel Thorpe

Sam is a recent graduate from the University of Adelaide and joins us to teach both Christian Living and English. Sam is also a qualified History teacher and has a great interest in ancient mythology. Sam's passions outside of work include bouldering, travelling and consuming a good brunch sandwich. Sam is most excited to connect with students here at Endeavour and play a part in continuing to build a positive and engaging learning environment. 

Valesha Trigg

Valesha joins Endeavour College as the new Head of People and Culture. Valesha brings over 18 years of experience from diverse industries including Health Care, Private Health Insurance and Community Services. Valesha is passionate about supporting and coaching leaders to interpret strategic initiatives and assisting in implementing them into their daily work structures. 

Michael Vickery

Michael brings a wealth of leadership and teaching experience to Endeavour College, serving our community as Head of Senior School. Michael has extensive experience in senior school education having taught Geography and Research Project, and worked with the SACE Board. 

He joins us from Rostrevor College where he was the Director of Boarding and served as the Vice Chair for South Australia on the Australian Boarding Schools Association. His leadership extends to a variety of roles including leading expeditions such as the Kokoda and Indian Pilgrimage immersions, as well as coaching multiple sports throughout his career.  

Michael is intrinsically motivated to engage young people in learning programs that lift them academically, spiritually, socially, morally, and emotionally to be the best version of themselves. He has a genuine passion for teaching and is excited to start this new, exciting chapter here at Endeavour College.

Mitchell Wells

As an old scholar of Endeavour College (class of 2018), Mitchell is thrilled to return to the College as an English and HASS teacher. 

Having previously taught HASS and Digital Technology at Nazareth Catholic College, Mitchell brings a wealth of enthusiasm and experience to the English and HASS learning areas. Deeply familiar with the culture and values of the College, Mitchell is passionate about contributing to and enhancing the curriculum, including integrating technology. He is also looking forward to reconnecting with and getting to know the wider College community and fostering meaningful relationships to support students in their learning journey. 

Outside of the classroom, Mitchell enjoys following the local ice hockey scene and cheering for the Adelaide Crows. 

He also has a love for camping, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.
