Thank you for those new families who joined the Laptop Information Session Q&A online on Thursday night and the  large numbers who have viewed the presentation. Please find below a summary of the questions. Please also note that there has been some updates to a couple of the responses.

Yes. The laptop comes with a separate stylus and charging case.

How can I get additional help?

Parent information and help sheets exist on the College Website in the Parent Portal. For questions not covered here contact can be made with the College and/or desk@endeavour.sa.edu.au.

Can the laptop be connected to a home Wi-Fi?

Yes, students can connect to a home Wi-Fi connection. Students have access to the software needed for their studies via the College network. In most cases additional software cannot be installed.

This session was a great start to our building of the partnerships between home and the College. Thank you to all who have kept informed and continue to support the College by attending these events. Please continue to ask for clarification on any aspects of technology at the College.

Progressions Policy

As part of ensuring students are choosing subjects to which they are most suited and in  line with College strategic directions of building a thriving learning culture of excellence and purpose, the College has created a Progressions Policy to support the transition of students between subjects and year level. While you will hear more about this in coming weeks, in essence students will need to keep their attendance at above 80%,  pass each subject and achieve a satisfactory attitude notation, to gain automatic entry to the subject in the following year. These requirements have been outlined on the syllabus page of each course. We are looking forward to working with students to continue to meet and exceed their learning goals for 2025.
