From the Principal

We were delighted to start the term as a community at our annual Opening Service, welcoming both familiar and new faces to the 2025 school year.

We officially welcomed 135 new Year 7 students with a procession led by our Village Leaders and acknowledged 20 new students in Years 8-12. New staff and student leaders were also introduced and installed.

Before Christmas, our Board Chair and I shared exciting plans for a new three-story lakeside building across the boulevard, above the current Year 12 car park. This will include a state-of-the-art performing arts centre and a primary school (Reception to Year 6). Rest assured, we will continue to have ample Year 7 places for our Connected Schools: Good Shepherd, Golden Grove and St Paul Lutheran.

Over the holidays, we made key campus upgrades, including a new entryway from the mall to Plaza 2, additional upstairs bathrooms (nearing completion), fresh paint, and new carpeting, reflecting our commitment to a vibrant learning environment.

This year, we’re introducing Heads of Villages, who will support families from Years 7-12, working closely with Village Leaders to provide more personalised care.

By now, you should have received an introductory letter from your Head of Village.

You can expect:

• Regular check-ins with Care Group teachers and Heads of Villages

• Peer connections through cross-year activities • Guidance and mentorship to support student success

As we begin 2025, I encourage all students to embrace growth, resilience, and excellence—not as perfection, but as continuous effort and determination.

Each day is an opportunity to live out the Endeavour Way, treat others the way we want to be treated and strive to be your best self.

Let’s make 2025 a year of achievement and community—together.

Welcome to 2025!

Mr Richard Baird

Principal
