Italian

“Buongiorno!

During term 4 everyone was really busy with Italian! 

We compared Italian and Australian primary schools. 

It was interesting to discover every little and big difference between the two of them. 

At the end of the day almost everyone in the school felt lucky to be born in Australia and to attend an Australian school, except for the last day of school when in Italy we have the tradition of playing water games.

We learnt lots of vocabulary connected to school such as days of the week, months of the year and school materials. 

Everyone was also busy creating a video to describe and show St.Bernard’s school to a Bilingual Italian school, where I used to teach, and hopefully we will receive a video of them describing their own school!

We will finish the year talking about Italian Christmas, getting ready for Summer holidays that everyone fully deserves,
