Principal's message
The second week of Advent we remember the gift of Peace we have in Christ. Peace is a gift we must be prepared for and must work for. God gives us the gift of peace when we turn to him working together in faith.
Loving God, we thank you for the gift of peace you give us through Jesus.
Help us prepare our hearts for the Lord's coming by working for Christ's peace
to take root in our family.
We ask this in the name of the one born in Bethlehem, Jesus our Lord.
Amen
Dear Parents,
Today we had the statewide transition day, it was so satisfying to walk around our school and view the new classes settling in.
There was a beautiful sense of calm in the classes, with children settled and eager to learn, establish new friendships and create new classroom communities.
Mrs Bevan and I walked through all the class rooms and reflected on how well the teachers have established the groups.
With only a few days left of the 2024 school year, we are busily practicing for the end of year celebrations.
Our Star night is on Monday evening beginning at 5.30 pm, and the grade six graduation evening is on Tuesday evening beginning at 6.00 pm.
All families and extended families are invited to join us at the Star Night where we come together to celebrate our Christmas story and give thanks for the year we have had.
Monday is the grade six day out all other classes will be focusing on finishing their year and enjoying preparing and celebrating our Christmas time.
Have a great week
