Meet our College Student Leaders - Secondary

Esther Senitu,
College Captain
Talofa Lava, my name is Esther Senitu and I have had the privilege of being elected as this year's Secondary School Captain. I’d love to share a few things about myself so that you can get to know me.
I was born and raised in New Zealand, 1 of 6 kids. As I grew up, I watched my dad and siblings play various sports, including Volleyball, Rugby, Basketball, and Touch Football. So, this is really where my passion for sports began and has only grown since being here in Australia.
I love the Lord and get excited to see my Christway family during the week, as well as committing to going every Sunday to see my church family.
My Goals for 2025 are to excel in both sports and academics and to be a better leader for the community of Christway College. I would also love to help grow my peer's relationship with Christ and strengthen their faith.
Venkata Reddy,
College Captain
My name is Venkata Reddy and you can also me Kushi. and I’m incredibly proud to serve as your College Captain this year. Here's a little bit about me to kick off this article!
I’m obsessed with basketball (maybe a little too much), love playing video games (definitely too much), and cherish spending time with my family and friends (honestly, way, way too much!).
I am also passionate about impacting our school community positively and making sure opportunities are available for involvement and success by all.
A fun fact about me: I was last year's SRC representative for the Year 9s. This year, my plan for our school is to establish more clubs and activities in which students can lead. These initiatives will help foster communication, teamwork, and other such critical skills which will set students up for success—not just in school, but also in their future careers.
Avi Sharma
College Vice- Captain
I am Avi Sharma, your Secondary School Vice-Captain of this year. As a person who is passionate about cars, basketball and Fortnite, I always love to stay active and challenge myself, whether if it’s on the basketball court, learning about the new car models, or simply playing games with friends.
In my role of Vice-Captain, it is my honour and duty to make our prestigious campus a better place. My aim is for all students to feel valued here, feel supported, for them to all grow in their faith and education, and for them to be the best they can. My objective for making our school a better place is to add more clubs, such as chess club, gaming club and even a study club. That way, all students would not only excel in their academics, but in extracurriculars, too.
As a faithful person, I am sincerely thankful to the Almighty, the staff, family and friends for making me feel like that I can be a great leader of my school.
Together, we can achieve great things this year!
Fun Fact: I have won a gold medal in the Wyndham Basketball Association domestic league for U14 boys.
Ekampreet Kaur
College Vice-Captain
I am Ekam, and I am one of the Secondary, School-Vice Captains for 2025. When I was selected for this role last year, I was over the moon.
Something that I love doing is helping others, and this role is an opportunity for me to give back to my peers and my school community. I have many ideas that I want to implement into our secondary school this year, and I’m super excited to collaborate with the rest of the leadership team.
Besides that, I also love to play Volleyball, interact with my friends and spend time with my family. I’m looking forward to our year ahead and I hope that our Christway community will continue to grow, and spread the word of God.
