Principal's Report

As we enter the final weeks of the year, it is a time to reflect on the true meaning of the season. It’s a time to think about others, to show patience, generosity and kindness.

Amidst the busyness and festivities of the holiday season, we can sometimes forget the deeper significance of Christmas – the birth of Christ. This season is an invitation to build a stronger relationship with our God, to open our hearts, and to receive the blessings He offers us.

This past week has been filled with moments of celebration and excitement here at St Joseph's. On Monday evening, we held our Annual Awards Night, a beautiful occasion where we came together to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our students. It was a night of pride and joy, reflecting the hard work and dedication of both our students and staff.

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Year 7 students into the College. For many, it was a time of mixed emotions – a blend of nerves and excitement as they embark on a new chapter of their educational journey. We look forward to supporting them as they settle into their new school community and grow over the coming years.

Looking ahead, we are eagerly awaiting the release of our VCE results today, marking the culmination of years of hard work for our senior students. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished, and we wish them all the best for their future endeavours.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our staff for their unwavering commitment and hard work throughout the year. Your dedication to our College and to our students is truly appreciated.

To all our families, I extend my warmest wishes for a very Merry Christmas. May you enjoy a time of peace and joy with your loved ones. I trust that you will stay safe and well, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to the College in 2025, ready for another year of growth and learning.

God Bless.
