Principal's update

Hello everyone, 

Here is the newsletter for week eleven of term four - our final newsletter for the term! 

This term finishes today Friday 20 December at 1.00pm.

Term one 2025 will start on Thursday 30 January for all students. 

Staff will be onsite from Tuesday 28 January

2025 classes

Since our transition day we have made some changes to our class structures and staffing.

The 2025 classes will be: 

P/1 Marcus

2/3 Emma

4/5 Lea and TBA

5/6 Scott

We welcome Scott Purdon to our school in 2025, many of you know will Scott from his current position at Chewton PS.

Charmaine will be reducing her time to 1 day per week and continuing her great work as our drama teacher

We will be saying farewell to Jess and Helen today as they both leave to pursue other opportunities. I would like to sincerely thank both Jess and Helen for everything they have contributed to Taradale PS.

As well as continuing with the tutor position, Lea will also be teaching the 4/5 class part-time. We are currently undertaking a recruitment process to fill the job share position for the 4/5 class

Breakfast Club 

We held our final Breakfast Club for the year this morning. There are some great pics on Instagram and Facebook. Thank you to the parent helpers for providing a wonderful breakfast of pancakes and multiple toppings.

Garden Club 2025

Grade 6 graduation

On Monday we held our year 6 graduation ceremony at the Taradale Hall, followed by a graduation dinner and disco for our departing year 6 students. The students gave heartfelt speeches talking about their time at primary school and all had a wonderful time at the dinner and party.
