YEAR 3 - 6 News

NAPLAN Yr 3 & 5

Year 3

3A has been adding the ‘Power of 3’ to our sentences to add impact to our persuasive writing over the past few weeks. Using emotive imagery has also added further detail and meaning to our written words as we attempt to convince others to our way of thinking.

We asked our families to share photos of their celebrations for our Inquiry unit this term, ‘What we Celebrate and Commemorate’ and were inundated with so many photographic memories of special family events! The students excitedly shared their experiences and loved finding out about new celebrations that they didn’t already know of. We all agreed that we are incredibly lucky to have such a diverse family group in 3A and Windsor PS!
