...and that is a wrap for Term 1 in 1/2N. What an incredible term it has been, adjusting to our new classroom environment, forming new friendships and diving head first into learning. I wish to take this time to thank all the students in my class for showing me their true colours and being so positive, they are all beautiful students and are a joy to teach.

Kinnect to Dance Performance 

Our class has loved attending Kinnect to Dance every Friday with Kyle and his crew. The build up and anticipation for the whole school performance was so exciting. We practised as much as we could leading up to it. 

Home Learning (Homework) and Levelled Readers

I would be most appreciative if students brought their Home Learning books in each Friday so I can review them. Home Learning provides opportunities for your children to complete independent work or work with you, if you choose for them to do so.  I will be adding new work fortnightly.

Students have levelled readers which they swap over on Fridays when we go to the library.

The levelled readers are the books appropriate to your child's level of reading and we encourage you to listen to your child read each night. Please ensure the books are in their blue satchels. Library is such a fun time for students when they can borrow a book of their own choice to  view and enjoy.   The children need a separate library bag for borrowing books.

Farewell and enjoy a wonderful, memorable holiday period with your families over the Easter Holiday Break. I am very excited to hear all the stories everyone has to share upon arrival in Term 2!
