Principal's Report
Saint Francis Xavier - Principal's Report
Term 1 - Week 9
Dear Parents and Friends of St Francis Xavier,
We have reached the end of Week Nine, which is also the last day of Term One! All of our students have worked so hard this term, especially the Preps in their first term of Primary School. Every single student thoroughly deserves a well earned break for the next couple of weeks.
Lent
As we approach the sacred days of Holy Week, let us embrace the profound significance of this time in our faith journey. Today On Holy Thursday, we commemorate the Last Supper, a poignant moment of unity and service. As Christians, we are called to reflect on Christ's teachings of love, humility, and sacrifice. Let us engage in prayerful reflection, acts of kindness, and selflessness as we journey through Good Friday and await the joyous celebration of Easter. May these days deepen our understanding of Christ's love and inspire us to live out His message in our daily lives.
This Week’s Assembly
I would like to thank the fantastic students of Grade 3/4B and their teacher, Mr Brendan for engaging with us at assembly on Tuesday. The students proudly showcased their Camp Manyung experience in front of many very proud parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to see our 3/4 students so confidently share their learning experiences from camp.
Basketball
Fresh off their Grand Final win, William and Egidio (Grade 4) are looking a new player to join their basketball team for the upcoming winter season. If any boys born in either 2013 or 2014 are interested in playing, please let me know and I can pass on the relevant details to the team.

Track Athletics
Congratulations to the students who participated in the track athletics last Friday. All the children who participated did an amazing job earning points for our school. Thank you to the attending staff who had a very hectic time organising and marshaling our students on the day.
Have a safe and Happy Easter and we look forward to welcoming all students and families back to school on Monday 15th April.
