MCC Cross Country 

It was terrific to see so many friends and family members at the 2024 cross country at Jaycee Park. Students ran along the river trail towards Apex Park and back, overlapping the Mildura Weir Parkrun course, as well as the start of the Mildura Marathon course! The weather was perfect for running—overcast and cool! Results are available online. Students who have qualified for the division finals will be notified. - Kevin Jackson

Cross country was a total hit this year. There was a lot of great running from all the racers, and I think that whoever wins would only have won by a small margin. It is always encouraging to see everyone giving it their all and trying their hardest. People struggled but everyone eventually got through it and had a great time. It is always good to see all the parents there encouraging the students on. We are really blessed by God to have this opportunity and chance to run. Thanks to Mr. Jackson and Mr. Tresize for organising it this year. -Josiah Deroon (Red House Captain)

Cross Country was amazing- it was hard at first but everyone encouraged each other and helped each other push until they were finished. It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. It looked like everyone definitely enjoyed the BBQ after and definitely leaving school early, but socializing with everyone was joyful. I knew everyone didn’t want to do cross country at first but everyone got through it and everyone was happy at the end. - Tilesa Kolo (Red House Captain)
