Emergency Services Expo

This year's Emergency Services Expo was a huge hit! Students all the way from ABCs to Hey had the opportunity to talk to emergency staff, sit in firetrucks, perform CPR on a mannequin, make a smoothie by riding a bike and watch a person be safely removed from a car wreck in real time! 

"My favourite stall," says Jennifer from Dalet class, "was the police. We got to go in the van and turn the sirens and lights on." 

But for many, the highlight of the day was making smoothies at the Community RoadSafe Mildura stall. Students were able to ride a bike that made the blade inside the blender spin - the faster they pedalled, the faster the blades would spin, resulting in delicious smoothies!
