Assistant Principals' Report

Dear HPS Community,

NAPLAN

This week we completed the final NAPLAN assessment in our test schedule. We would like to thank and congratulate the students, support staff and classroom teachers for a smooth and successful NAPLAN testing period. Additionally, we would like to thank parents and carers for supporting students as needed from home. 

District Swimming

Well done to the 10 students who competed at the Northern Metro Region Swimming Championship on Thursday. It was a very successful day with Emma H winning the 50m breast stroke with a PB. 

We also had success in the 4x50m freestyle relays with the 11 year old girls (Ruby D, Aanya R, Emily L, Phoebe H) and the 11 year old boys (Genoah S, Lachlan C, Will R, Hugh E) coming 1st. These 9 students will now compete at the State Swimming Championships on Friday 19th April. 

Elodie P was our 10th student competing. She swam in a very fast butterfly race and although she didn’t qualify for State she did record a PB.
