UPDATE

Term 2: Week 1

WELCOME TO WEEK 1!

  • We look forward to welcoming all students and staff back to St Mary’s on
MONDAY, 15 APRIL, for the commencement of Term 2.

  • We hope all families had a restful Easter and are excited for the term ahead. This term will be busy and exciting for students and families with many College events, sporting activities, and effective teaching and learning taking place across the ten weeks.

  • A reminder to all St Mary’s families about our College uniform and personal grooming expectations on returning to school. Please refer to the link below for details. Should students not meet these expectations, conversations with families will occur to address the matter.

THIS WEEK:

Monday: Term 2 Commences

All students are to wear formal uniform for the commencement of Term 2.

Tuesday: Whole College Assembly

On Tuesday we look forward to recognising students receiving Principals Awards for their efforts in Term 1.

Wednesday: St Mary’s Cross Country

Cross Country will take place on Wednesday during Periods 1 - 3. All students are required to attend and participate in the event to gain house points. House uniform is required for this event on Wednesday. This sporting event is an excellent opportunity to show great sportsmanship and dedication to the College community. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Thursday: Parent-Teacher Conversations

Parents can make a booking through the PTO software link that was emailed last term. All Conversations will take place in the HOB.

College Diary Reminder:

A reminder that all students are required to carry a College diary to all lessons. This is a great communication tool to support students with their learning and meet homework/assessment requirements. Parents and Carers are encouraged to look over their child’s diary to ensure it is being used effectively. Parents and Carers are also encouraged to use the diary to communicate with teachers regarding any homework or uniform concerns.

A reminder, ANZAC Day is a public holiday, students are not required to attend the College on this day.
