Celebrating Ride2School Day!

Last Friday, our school participated in Ride2School Day, and what a fantastic turnout it was! We were amazed to see so many students arriving on bikes and scooters, with a total of 263 students riding to school and 68 choosing to walk. This means that we had an impressive 83.17% of our students actively commuting to school, contributing to a vibrant and healthy start to the day!

Being active in the morning offers numerous benefits to students, including improved concentration, mood, and overall health. By participating in activities like riding or walking to school, students can kickstart their day with a burst of energy that sets a positive tone for learning and engagement in the classroom.

We hope to see more families and students embrace this healthy routine, not just on special occasions like Ride2School Day but as part of their daily lives. With the last part of summer still on us, let's make the most of the sunny days ahead by encouraging outdoor activities and active modes of transportation.

Let's keep up the great work and continue to prioritise our health and well-being by staying active and making the most of each day!

Yours faithfully,
