Maths Club Term 2

Maths Club in Term 1 has been incredible. A massive thank you to all the students who attended, putting in maximum effort throughout the entire term. 

In Term 2, we invite students in Years 2 & 4 to join the Maths Club. 

Maths Club will be available for all other year groups throughout the year and will be communicated at a later date.

Maths Club will start in Week 2 (Monday 22nd April) and will be held each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:20 – 8:50 am, finishing on Friday, Week 10, Term 1 ( 21st June).

By joining the Math Club, Newlands Primary School expects families to support their children by ensuring:

• Students attend Maths Club regularly (at least two times per week)
• Complete up to 3 hours of Essential Assessment activities each week
• Parents and Carers support their child’s learning at home when required.

Laptops will be provided for students without their own device.

If your child is in Years 2 or 4 and interested in attending Maths Club in Term 2, 2024, please complete the activity permission form on Sentral by Thursday 18th April. 

Places are limited to 50 students. Once Sentral receives 50 permission slips, it will be locked.
