Senior Sport Gala Day #2

On Tuesday, our senior students completed their summer sports gala days, with Day 2 being run and won.  All of out students showed huge engagement in our interschool sports program this year, which was great to see.  All teams identified that they made huge improvements from their very first training session to our last game.  It was a very successful day for Croydon Hills with four premierships.  Congratulations to the girls and mixed basketball teams, our girls A tennis team, and also our Sofcrosse Mix team who took home the premiership.  Lastly a massive thank you to all of our parent helpers who assisted across the two days.  Without our parent's help, these days don't go ahead.

District Tennis Trials:

Congratulations to Luke 6LD, Shanil 6LD, Chloe SKF and Sofia 5LC who competed at the District Tennis Trials last Friday at Yarra Valley Grammar. It was a great experience for everyone to play full court tennis against some strong competitors from other schools. We wish Sofia all the best as she has progressed through to the Regional Finals on April 30th at North Ringwood Tennis Club. Also, a big thank you to their parents/grandparents for driving them to the competition.

Science & Sustainability

2023 ANNUAL RESOURCE SMART REPORT.

ResourceSmart Schools is a Victorian Government program that helps our school embed sustainability into our curriculum, our campus operations and in our community. Our school is taking action to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions since starting our school's Resource Smart Journey in January 2008.

This annual report shows our total resource usage and total cost for the Calendar Year, 2023.

Croydon Hills Primary School is very proud of the efforts of the staff, student body and wider school community for all their efforts in reducing the impact that our school has on the environment.

The graphs below show how our school consistently beats our own baseline, which was reset in 2021 after returning from CoVID lockdowns.  This is on top of our school average use already being below the Victorian benchmark for school resource use.  WELL DONE EVERYONE!
