Performing Arts Showcase
Last night our school came alive for our Performing Arts Showcase and it was a truly wonderful evening. The hall was full, the energy was electric and every student who took to the stage did so with confidence, commitment and real skill. What you saw last night was the result of months of hard work, early mornings, lunch breaks given up and countless run-throughs until everything came together. That kind of dedication is something to be genuinely proud of.
Nights like this are a reminder of just how much is happening at our school beyond the classroom. The performing arts build courage, resilience, teamwork and the ability to hold your nerve when it counts. These are skills that will stay with our students long after the curtain comes down. Thank you to our music tutors, specialist staff, admin staff and classroom teachers who gave so much of their time to make the evening possible, and to our families for the support you provide at home every single day. Most of all, congratulations to every student who performed. You were magnificent.
Father's Day BBQ
This morning we were treated to a wonderful Father's Day breakfast, beautifully organised by our P&C. It was a lovely way to start the day and great to see so many families come together before school. To all the fathers, grandfathers and father figures in our community, we hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy some well-deserved time with the people who matter most.
Sports, Co-Curricular Group Photographs
Next Thursday, 10 September, we will be holding sports and co-curricular group photographs as well as catch up portrait photographs for new students.
Students are to wear their correct Winter uniform (jumpers will be removed for the photographs).
No sports uniform and No Year 6 Shirts are to be worn.
Families will be notified and provided with a link to order these photographs when it becomes available.
Please ensure your child has the correct winter uniform, please refer to the images below.
Celebrating SASS Week
This week, our school community celebrated SASS Week, recognising the significant contributions of our support teachers, office staff, and general assistants. These team members have an outstanding positive impact on our students, and we are fortunate to work collaboratively with them. SASS staff provide invaluable support to students, staff, and families in a multitude of ways, and we are deeply grateful for their dedication. As a gesture of appreciation, we hosted a morning tea, and students created gratitude cards to thank these valued members of our school.
