From the Library

Disability Pride Week
The library celebrated Disability Pride Week by inviting students to design and create their own badges. Students enthusiastically took part, producing a wide range of colourful and creative designs that celebrated disability pride and promoted inclusion, acceptance, and respect for people with disabilities. It was wonderful to see students expressing their support and helping to raise awareness across our school community.
Vinyl Record Day
The library was filled with music and excitement as students celebrated Vinyl Record Day! They loved getting a close-up look at a real record player, discovering how it works, and listening to some classic songs played on vinyl. Students also got creative by designing and making their own Vinyl Record Day badges, and everyone had the chance to take home a themed bookmark. It was a fun way to explore the history of music, discover how people listened to their favourite songs before streaming, and celebrate the timeless magic of vinyl records.
Make and Take Craft Club
This week at Make and Take Craft Club, students got crafty with postage stamps collage! Inspired by the artwork of Laura K. Sayers, students created colourful collage artworks, mixing and matching ideas to make their own unique designs. There were plenty of creative ideas, interesting patterns and a little bit of stamp magic along the way!
