Staff Professional Learning Day

On Wednesday 12 August, the staff of Northcote High School had the opportunity to spend a full day together reflecting on our teaching and collaborating together to ensure consistent classroom practices schoolwide. 

We are currently implementing our updated Pedagogical Model, in line with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 (VTLM 2.0) and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0. The focus of the PL Day was on creating the conditions for engaging and challenging learning to occur in every classroom. 

Our Curriculum and Pedagogy team led a series of whole staff workshops throughout the day, and we are all keen to use the strategies from the day to continue supporting every learner at our school.
