R U OK Day?

Last week, students and staff celebrated R U OK? Day, recognising the importance of checking in with others and reminding everyone that they are supported and never alone.

Students added a splash of colour to the day by wearing bright clothing or accessories, including hats, socks, wristbands and hair accessories.

Throughout the day, students learned and practised a simple strategy for caring conversations: ASK, LISTEN, ENCOURAGE ACTION and CHECK IN. These steps help students show care, listen without judgement, encourage others to seek support and follow up when someone may need help.

SVATs End-of-Term Dress-Up Day

On Friday 18 September, our SVAT representatives led a colourful End-of-Term Free Dress-Up Day, with students invited to wear their favourite outfits and make a gold coin donation. The fundraiser supported our World Vision sponsor child, Dinh Minh Son, who lives in Vietnam.

All funds raised will contribute towards Minh Son’s educational needs, including a new schoolbag, clothing and stationery. A big thank you to our wonderful school community for your generosity and support, and to our SVAT representatives for showing such great leadership, compassion and initiative in organising the fundraiser.
