Book Week

What an incredible Book Week we have had!

Our students have enjoyed a fantastic week celebrating books, reading, creativity and imagination, with some very special events taking place across the school.

Author Talk with Andy Griffiths

One of the biggest highlights of the week was our special Author Talk with Andy Griffiths. Students had the opportunity to hear from one of Australia's most loved children's authors and learn more about his books, characters and life as a writer.

Andy entertained our students with his humour and stories, while giving them an insight into where his ideas come from and what it takes to create a book. It was fantastic to see our students so engaged and excited to hear from an author whose books are enjoyed by so many of them.

Book Week Dress-Up Day

Our Book Week Dress-Up Day was another huge success! Students and staff embraced the opportunity to come dressed as characters from their favourite books, creating a colourful and exciting atmosphere across the school.

It was wonderful to see the creativity that went into the costumes and, most importantly, to see students celebrating the books and characters they love.

Treehouse Competition

The Treehouse Competition has been a major feature of our Book Week celebrations. Classes have worked together to design and create their own book-inspired treehouses, showcasing incredible creativity, teamwork and imagination.

The finished treehouses have transformed our school and have certainly given everyone plenty to admire!

A huge thank you to our staff, students and families for helping make Book Week such a memorable celebration. We have loved seeing our school community come together to celebrate the joy of books and reading.
