Old Saints

Heritage Week 2024
The College's 12th annual Heritage Week kicked off this week and will run from 29 April to 10 May 2024.
This year's theme 'A sense of history, a sense of place' focuses on the development of our campus over the past 43 years, and the places or buildings that have played an important role in All Saints’ College’s history.
Heritage Week was established at All Saints’ College in 2013 as a way of making our history and heritage more visible. As the College continues to grow and develop, it is important to acknowledge and celebrate our history in order for future generations to understand how we as a community have come to enjoy the All Saints’ we know today. Heritage Week is a wonderful way for students, staff, parents and guardians, grandparents and Old Saints to reflect on an aspect of the College’s past.
ASC students will enjoy various activities to celebrate and recognise our heritage across the two weeks.
Early Childhood students in Kindy to Year 2 will have a chance to participate in a Heritage Week Colouring Competition. Years 3 and 4 students will take part in a Heritage Week Jigsaw Challenge, and Years 5 and 6 students will engage in a Walking Tour of the campus and Quiz. The Senior School students enjoyed a presentation from Heritage Coordinator Mr John Beaverstock and Old Saint Charles Street (Class of 1998) at Assembly today.
Next Friday 10 May, the Old Saints will take on ASC students in the highly anticipated Heritage Week Old Saints vs Students’ Sports Match in the Indoor Sports Centre from 4.45pm. There will be a sausage sizzle hosted by the Teach Learn Grow Trip students following the event, who are raising money for Fitzroy Valley District High School. All are welcome to attend!
Don't forget to visit the Heritage Week Pop-up Museum in the Centre for Performing Arts and take a look at the archival temporary window installations in various locations across the campus.
