Nicole Li Achieves AMEB Excellence

We are delighted to announce that Nicole Li (Year 11) has received the Licentiate Diploma in Music, Australia (LMusA) by the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) for Piano. 

 

The LMusA diploma is testament to Nicole’s exceptional proficiency in musical performance and theory. Awarded through a rigorous examination process, the LMusA recognises outstanding candidates who demonstrate extraordinary skill and dedication in their chosen instrument.

 

In the examination Nicole underwent assessment by a Federal examiner, typically a university professor ensuring national standard consistency, and a State examiner specialising in piano. With a national success rate of approximately 10% of candidates, the LMusA diploma is a remarkable achievement and testament to Nicole’s talent and hard work.

Angelina Ung Makes a Splash at Aqua Technics

Congratulations to Angelina Ung (Year 8) for her outstanding performance at the 2023–24 Aqua Technics Junior State Championships! Angelina secured two silver medals in the 100m and 200m butterfly events during the competition, which took place from 22–24 March at HBF Stadium.

 

The championships attracted over 400 swimmers from 45 clubs, spanning from Broome to Albany, making it a highly competitive event showcasing talent from across the state. Angelina’s achievement reflects her dedication and skill in swimming, and we applaud her success in such a prestigious competition. Well done, Angelina!


Isabella Leniartek Dominates the Greens 

 

During the school holidays Isabella Leniartek (Year 10) demonstrated her golfing skills with remarkable achievements. She secured victory at the Gosnells Junior Open with an impressive score of 67, which was five strokes under par. Additionally, Isabella represented Golf WA at the Junior Interstate series, held at Gosnells Golf Club. She remained undefeated, winning all five interstate matches. Her outstanding performance contributed significantly to the WA Girls’ team, which placed second overall. 

 

Prior to the school holidays, Isabella triumphed at the Nedlands Junior Masters tournament. These accomplishments underscore her exceptional talent and commitment to the sport of golf, earning her well-deserved recognition.
