CTF Construction Career Scholarship 2025 

 

Applications for the CTF Construction Career Scholarship 2025 are now open!

 

The CTF Scholarship program is designed for students who will be commencing Years 11 and 12 in 2025. This fully funded program offers students the opportunity to work towards a Certificate II in Building and Construction while still attending school. Depending on their chosen pathway, selected students will attend an RTO either one or two days a week for either one year or two years, students will also have the chance to gain practical experience through on-site work.

 

In addition to trade-based options, we also provide Building and Construction Office Support pathways for students interested in a Pathway to become an office-based construction professional. As part of the program, CTF will cover the cost of all uniforms and boots and course tuition, and we will offer ongoing mentoring and support, along with other wrap around services .

School Based Traineeship Program 2025

An early bird alert that the School Based Traineeship Program is now ready for Year 10 students to start considering for 2025. 

 

The WA public sector School Based Traineeship Program is a fantastic opportunity for students going into Year 11 to gain on the job experience and build workplace skills while earning a part time salary.

 

Applications are open to students from Monday 1 July to Monday 7 August.

Students can now start looking at agencies offering traineeships in 2025 and make decisions about where they would like to work and opportunities that align with their interests and future plans.

 

Traineeships start in February 2025 and run for 18 months. In this time, a trainee:

  • works on Thursdays and Fridays in a public sector agency that counts towards their Western Australian Certificate of Education
  • get paid a fortnightly part time salary based on their age and the employing agency's agreement and award
  • completes a nationally recognised Certificate II in Government
  • is provided with ongoing support from a workplace supervisor to develop workplace skills necessary for future employment.
