Free Home Internet Access  for Students 

The Department for Education is dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment where every student has the tools they need to succeed. Free internet access is available to students who don't have reliable internet at home.

There are currently two options for eligible families:

• the department's Student Home Internet Program
• the Australian Government's School Student Broardband Initiative.
