Dear Parents,

Maths Night will include: information for parents about your school’s approach to maths education;resources and suggestions for helping with maths at home;demonstrations of a range of different maths games and investigations within our classrooms;an opportunity for parents and students to experience engaging maths challenges together;a raffle: all attendees will go into our raffle, with prizes drawn over the PA at school pick-up the following afternoon.

Format: When you arrive on the night, parents are asked to drop students off in their classrooms, where they will spend some time with their teacher playing their class’ chosen maths game.  Parents are asked to come straight to the hall for a short presentation from Matt Hale (our school’s maths coordinator), commencing at 5:35pm sharp.  At 5:50, parents will rejoin with their children to participate in the games and investigations on offer in different classrooms.
