EDUCATION WEEK

Next week is Education Week from Monday 13 May to Friday 17 May.

The theme this year is Spotlight on STEM, a chance for schools to celebrate and share 

how they bring science, technology, engineering, and maths to life in the classroom.

Please see below for a menu of activities that will be happening next week.  Thank you to Ms. Middlin and Mr. Smith for your preparation and to the Educational Support team for hosting activities at lunchtime club throughout the week.

BULLDOGS READ UPDATE

Last Wednesday our Bulldogs Read Program participants had the opportunity to participate in a Q & A session via Zoom with several players from the Western Bulldogs AFL Team.  Those players being Bailey Smith, Jamara Ugle-Hagan and Oscar Baker. 

The students had an opportunity to ask questions regarding the players’ football lives but also asked questions about books they enjoy now and when they were younger. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Please see the information below for an upcoming parent information session regarding early literacy.  Please note, this is a repeat of the session offered late last term, so if you came along to that session, the same content will be covered.

Don’t forget to register for the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge using the steps and log in details provided in the last two newsletters.
