Week 2, Term 2

STEM

Grade 1 and 2

Students will extend on last week's lesson on animal tracks to investigate different physical features of animals. Students will form an understanding of how different features assist each animal in the habitat in which they live.

Grade 3 and 4

Students will discuss the differences between living and non living things and apply their understanding to sort and classify different objects.

Grade 5 and 6

Students will investigate living, non-living and never living things by sorting and classifying objects based on their physical features and movement.

Performing Arts

With a variety of events and the public holiday this week, only a limited number of classes will have Performing Arts. Students who have classes will be continuing their learning from last week where we explored music and/or drama with ANZAC Day themes. All students have also been learning a song to perform at the ANZAC ceremony this Wednesday.

Physical Education

Due to a modified timetable and only some classes receiving PE this week, the focus for all classes who have PE will be on revising already taught skills and sports.
