Level 5 & 6 Wonga Weekly

Week 2, Term 2

🌿 WEEK TWO LEARNING

What a busy week! Cross Country on Monday, ANZAC Day Public Holiday on Thursday and a Curriculum Day on Friday.

🌱LITERACY

In Literacy this week, students will be learning about the history surrounding ANZAC Day and the involvement that women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people played in World War I.

What you can do at home

Help your child to set aside time to read - preferably every night. This will help them build important learning habits. Your child now has access to Reading Eggspress, to help with adding variety to their range of text choices.

🌱 NUMERACY

In Numeracy this week, we will be revising the concept of multiplicative thinking and reviewing strategies for multiplication and division, and linking the two.
